While we've seen a lot of registrations from the community come in, it seems as though some of you still need a bit more convincing or a better understanding of t. If you haven’t registered for SpiceWorld yet - Watch this! Spiceworks. ![]() Is there anything in the logs that will steer me to what the problem is with installation that is causing boostrapper to fail? I have tried all of the recommendations I can find from Microsoft and anyone else, which include:ġ) uninstalling all old versions of officeĢ) used fixit tool KB971179 (removes versions before 2013)ģ) used fixit tool KB2739501 (removes 2013)ĥ) disabling anti-virus (Kaspersky KES ver 10)ħ) check services enabled - Task Scheduler, Office Software Protection Platform, RPCĨ) regedit disable then re-enable Task Scheduler All PC's came with Office 2013 trial which was removed and 2010 volume purchase installed. All PC's running WIN7 Pro 64 and installing Office 2013 Standard 32 bit. The year prior and current year do not have this problem, so I think bootstrapper is seeing something in the hardware configuration that it doesn't like. I've been working this for about a month now and still cant find the right combination or answer.įor us the situation is rather unique in that it happens only to a specific series of Thinkstations S30 purchased last year. Seems there are a lot of bootstrapper errors during installation with Office 2013.
